Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years experience involving IR and UV imaging systems analysis, algorithm design and simulation development.
Knowledge of  signal processing, image processing and statistical pattern recognition
Detailed knowledge of missile warning systems employing UV and IR imaging technologies
Ability to predict EO/IR/UV system performance using closed form analysis and modeling / simulation
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
Experience with systems engineering processes
Strong written and oral communications skills
Responsibilities
Analyze UV and IR sensors for missile warning applications
Design missile warning system
Simulate UV andIR imaging sensors and phenomenology
Analyse data from fielded systems to identify opportunities for performance enhancement
Document analysis,m simulation and algorithms
Prepare and deliver technical support  and  briefings to customers
Education
MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Math
PhD...
