Profile: Hello I'm Jesse and as for friends I'm known as "Buddy" I have been working in the profession of Television news and video entertainment for the past six years. I just recently moved to Albuquerque from El Paso to improve my profession as a video news editor. In my experience I have worked as a photographer, editor, light tech Assistant, grip and utilities for live shows. i consider my job as play time and I would love to continue to play. On my free time I love to take pictures on 35mm film, go to the movies, simply enjoy the life of outside of work what ever it may be. Profile: Currently, I am freelancing as the lead graphics editor/compositor for a show on NBC. I also edit promos for the show w/ a particular look that I can achieve due to my skills beyond editing. I work on side projects whenever I can, and try to expand my network w/ regards to working relationships.
When I'm not working I am learning about new software, methodologies, and overall developing myself and my capabilities as an editor, compositor, motion graphics artist, etc.
Most of my hobbies are directly related to work I hope to perform in the future. I paint, sketch, shoot and/or composite elements together w/ stock footage which enables me to measure and analyze what I can do and how I visualize color, light, and how producing something artificial differs from how we/I perceive things in reality.
