For the nine months ended 31 March 2006, News Corporation's revenues rose 4% to $18.55B. Net income from continuing operations before accounting change rose 48% to $2.09B. Revenues reflect increased sales from cable network programming, newspapers and direct broadcast satellite television segments. Net income also reflects an increase in operating margins and increased equity earnings of affiliates.
