Huntington Bancshares Incorporated is a multi-state diversified financial holding company. For the six months ended 31 March 2006, Huntington Bancshares Incorporated's net interest income increased 6% to $505.88M. Net interest income after LLP increased 6% to $470.6M. Net income increased 6% to $216.1M. Net interest income reflects higher average commercial loans, increased home equity loans and higher average residential mortgages. Net income reflects an increase in service charges on deposit accounts and rise in trust services income.
