Responsible for identifying the patient correctly and providing individualized care to the patients according to established standards and policies/procedures in an emergency setting. Responsible for performing lab tests and reporting results to providers.
Responds to emergency and non-emergency requests to provide efficient and immediate assessment, treatment and transport of the non-critical ill and/or injured patient in the pre-hospital setting and other settings within the scope of training under a physician medical control authority. Applicant must live/work in the community area.
Performs proper specimen collection, testing and reporting of laboratory tests ordered. Performs DOT and non-DOT drug collections. Performs EKG testing. Assists front desk staff with customer service needs such as answering phones, processing outpatients and reference patients. Performs a variety of support functions for the clinical laboratory personnel.
Provide nursing services to Home Care and Hospice clients, utilizing comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process, and communicates / documents observations and assessments to appropriate personnel.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, healthful, and welcoming environment in all patient and non-patient areas of Ridgeview Medical Center. Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.

Responsible for assisting staff in the coordination of intra- and inter- departmental activities and communication. Assist with patient- related activities under the supervision of the RN.
The on-call Chaplain provides 24 hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month and provides back up for the hospital Chaplains for PTO coverage. The Spiritual Care department at RMC provides spiritual support to patients from all faiths in the hospital, emergency dept and hospice settings.
