QAD Enterprise Applications provide functionality for managing manufacturing operations and resources within and beyond the enterprise. The Company's Enterprise Applications, including its core enterprise application suite MFG/PRO and related extended enterprise applications address the needs of multinational manufacturers, enabling them to think and operate globally while preserving their ability to meet local requirements. QAD has a customer base of global Fortune 1000 and mid-market manufacturers. The Company has approximately 5,500 licensed sites of its software around the world. For the three months ended 30 April 2006, QAD Inc.'s revenues decreased 5% to $53.4M. Net income decreased 44% to $1.4M. Revenues reflect a decline in income from Services and license segments. Net income reflects increased sales & marketing expenses due to higher stock compensation expense & increased travl expense and higher research & development expense due to increased in headcout at development & resource centers in India, China & US.
