Performing all operational and clerical functions of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift Dock Operations and Dispatch, while using leadership skills and applying them in the workplace.
* Learning the loading and unloading process on the dock
* Load planning
* Using computer-generated loading, unloading and dispatch tools
* Applying and enforcing company policies and procedures
* Performing employee revie
* Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to assigned equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems, brake and air systems
* Repairing and inspecting heating units; troubleshooting vehicle computer systems and suspension systems
* Assisting Senior Mechanics in the completion of work assignments
* Maintaining a clean and safe work enviro
* Drive diesel-powered tractor-trailer, primarily during daytime hours, to transport and deliver general commodities to and from customers, while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
* Read Bill of Lading to determine assignment
* Maintain driver log according to FMCSA regulati
