The registered nurse in the Moffitt Clinic provides individualized nursing care to patients in accordance with established Cancer Center guidelines, nursing care standards, and Moffitt Clinic Policy & Procedures. The Clinic RN will coordinate and provide direct patient care, perform ongoing assessments, deliver patient education, and document in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines.
The coordinator clinical research facilitates clinical research activity at Moffitt Cancer Center and/or affiliated institutions by entering data on to case report forms (CRF’s), and/or register data using remote data entry and/or electronic data entry. The Dosimetrist is responsible for performing the radiation dosimetry activities relating to the Division of Radiation Oncology under the direction of the Chief Clinical Physicist. The main areas of involvement include dose calculations, computerized treatment planning, radioactive source handling, radiation safety, patient setup assistance and continuing education.

Provide coverage on an "as needed" basis in the Direct Referral Center (DRC) at the Moffitt Cancer Center. The DRC provides urgent care for Moffitt outpatients upon referral by their primary Moffitt cancer specialist. Should an emergency arise during the course of a patient's care, the DRC is available to provide prompt care of a comprehensive nature during extended hours, seven days a week.
