The individual will be responsible for developing a state-of-the-art program within Sensory & Product Guidance to gain a deep understanding of taste perception and sensory attribute interactions and their importance to consumer acceptance. The individual will also drive and serve as a technical expert in a design of experiments approach to product development across the R&D organization.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Design leading edge sensory research to understand taste perception and sensory attribute interactions. Manage all phases of the study including experimental design, test execution, statistical analyses and reporting of results. Translate research into actionable solutions and competitive advantages for the Campbell Soup Company. (40%)
2. Drive and support a design of experiments discipline within the R&D organization. Provide training and education within the R&D organization. (40%)
3. Provide statistical expertise and direction to Global Sensory & Product Guidance. (10%)
4. Leverage external networks to identify opportunities to enhance and build consumer research capabilities. (10%)
