Accurately tender food purchases at cash registers, provide change and maintain a balanced drawer in a friendly manner. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1.         Greet and assist guests as they approach the register.

2.         Make sure drawer contents are counted and accurate before opening.

3.         Responsible for keeping money neat and orderly.

4.         Keep track of all voids and over-rings.

5.         Ring in proper payment with each transaction.

6.         Assure payment is made for every item.

7.         Maintain orderly operations and ensure you have enough cash in your drawer for making change at all times.

8.         Maintain the cleanliness of your area.

9.         Help with closing procedures.

10.     Maintain a friendly, team spirit with a focus on guest service.

11.     Stock fruit bins, candy baskets, and chip stands.
