Work independently on assigned program accounts by providing merchandising direction, evaluation, selection and management of product offerings based on a thorough knowledge of clients’ promotional needs, target audience, competitive environment, program objectives and merchandising trends.  Prepare product presentation sheets for merchandise being proposed to clients.  Recommend appropriate corporate identification/decorating method for all merchandise. Reports to Apparel Merchandising Manager.

Responsibilities

•  Attend pre-merchandise meetings with Sales team to determine the merchandise direction of new and renewal corporate program opportunities
•  Prepare merchandise presentation worksheets for customer merchandising sessions
•  Present proposed merchandise in client merchandising sessions with sales team and catalog buyer on-site or at off-site locations.  Must be willing to travel.
•  Investigate product opportunities with vendors for corporate catalog programs.  Negotiate contracts with vendors
