A new opening for a Senior Engineer in Process Development to play an important role in the achievement of the company's Research and Development goals. The Senior Engineer will provide technical and project leadership in projects to improve the quality of the company's string ribbon silicon wafers. A background in solar cells, opto-electronic devices, semiconductor fabrication and/or crystal growth is desirable. This is truly an opportunity to utilize all of your technical and project leadership experience to help drive the company's aggressive multi-year growth plans.
Responsibilities:
* Technical leadership of wafer fab development projects to improve string ribbon crystal growth
* Execute projects to improve as grown minority carrier lifetime in wafers
* Execute projects to reduce wafer thickness
* Project management of team R&D goals as well as management of contractors
* Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
* Support or lead the transfer of new technologies from R&D into plant production and onto other plants around the world.
