The Member of Technical Staff in the module R&D area makes significant individual contributions in the module R&D area and is capable of planning and executing research projects that significantly advance the company's module technology in one or more areas of module processing and fabrication technology, module efficiency, module materials, materials interactions, and field performance.
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
* Plan and/or execute research and development projects with results that advance the company's module technology, improve efficiency, or reduce cost.
* Participate in the design, specification, and implementation of new module designs and new module assembly lines.
* Document and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data.
* Work with third parties and internal personnel regarding technical performance of manufacturing materials and equipment.
* Assist production and manufacturing engineering in solving and correcting material and equipment problems and failures.
