Design Engineer · Framingham, MA
Bose Corporation is looking for a Design Engineer to join it's Professional Systems team.
Highly skilled, customer-oriented designer responsible for designing advanced professional audio/video systems for national retail/restaurant accounts. Heavy emphasis on AutoCAD system documentation and meeting tight production schedules.
This will include but not be limited to:
•Collaborating with sales and project Managers toward design solutions
•Interface directly with customers, architects, electrical engineers and sound contractors
•Performing site surveys of new account stores
•Designing advanced background/foreground music systems including 70-volt and direct-coupled systems
•Design retail video solutions; video playback, video walls, etc.
•Document systems via AutoCAD; speaker layout, schematics, rack risers, one-line diagrams, etc.
•Commission installed systems
•Creation of installation manuals
•Creation of user manuals
•Some travel required
Skills •Three years experience in sound system/video design
•Proficient in AutoCAD 2004 or later
•Knowledge of pro-audio DSP and control systems a plus
