- The Loan Servicing Unit at State Street Bank serves as custodian, record keeper, and valuation agent for Syndicated Bank Loans held in portfolios of various SSC clients. As a member of this Unit, an entry level Administrator is charged with primarily two main functions: accurately maintaining detailed records for various Syndicated Bank Loans, and serving as the lead contact for both internal and external clients on a selected number of portfolios which hold these bank loan assets. This individual will liaise daily with Agent Banks via faxed notifications, the information on which they will use to update a vendor system where the bank loan records are maintained. He/she will also interact with the Investment Manager on their assigned portfolios, inputting/settling trades, performing ad hoc requests and providing daily reporting per client specific guidelines. Finally, he/she will work closely with his/her mutual fund counterpart. Maintenance of position and income records for syndicated bank loan assets found in mutual fund portfolios.
