Responsible for production activities. Coordinates the flow of information for daily and weekly schedules. Key activity is the identification and reduction in defects relayed to the products produced and the procedures used. Implements training activities on shop floor.
Qualifications Required
* Associate Degree, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline
* 2 years experience in electronic assembly environment in a supervisory capacity.
* Experience in lean manufacturing principles desirable.
Skills and Abilities
* Technical problem solving abilities.
* Must be computer literate in Widows 98 or higher, using Microsoft office.
* Successfully manage people in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Achieve and maintain production schedules with Quality as the main objective. Coordinate those activities to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information for accurate product assembly and on time delivery.
* Coordinate the continuous improvement process in the production department. Streamline activities and information to improve the overall process.
