Statement of Function:
(1)Manages all major modifications to the Power Distribution system in the plant. (2)Provides electrical engineering design, installation and start-up support for capital projects. This includes overseeing contractor personnel performing on-site work. (3)With the reliability electrical engineer, provides electrical consulting/troubleshooting support to electricians, other maintenance, and production personnel.
Responsibilities:
Designs, specifies and provides electrical power distribution systems to support plant production capabilities expansion or maintenance over the time.
Defines and coordinates the inspection and maintenance of the large electrical power distribution equipment such as transformers, breakers, UPS, etc.
Complies with the policies, documents, procedures, and work instructions of both the Quality and Environmental Management Systems, and performs these responsibilities in a safe manner.
Develops and maintains technology/equipment expertise in electrical power distribution equipment.
