Evergreen Solar is in the process of constructing a specialty raw materials manufacturing facility in Midland Michigan. This facility is critical to the Company's growth plans, ensuring sufficient quantities of critical materials are available during a period of rapid expansion.
The Process Engineer is responsible for technology transfer, process start-up, and continuous improvement for Evergreen Solar's Midland facility. He/she will direct the development and implementation of all activities in the process engineering area to meet product quality, tool uptime, and total production cost goals.

Participate in the remaining development effort required to bring new capabilites from R&D into high volume manufacturing.

Plan and conduct experiments throughout stages of development to characterize process windows.

Work with equipment suppliers to ensure compliance to equipment specifications and delivery schedule.

Install and qualify equipment to support new factory startup and 4 year expansion plan.
