The American Hospital Association (AHA) is the national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities.  We are currently seeking a Senior Staff Specialist in our Member Relations group.

PURPOSE:
Provides support in building relationships with AHA leadership audiences (senior executives, clinical leaders, and trustees) through a variety of methods and activities, including: supporting projects that promote advocacy and member relations goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Accountabilities for this position include the following:

Builds strong member relations through direct contacts with member executives and leadership audiences and synthesizes reports for AHA senior executive management about member concerns as based on CEO Relations Team activity.

Working with member executives, manages and develops briefings, case examples, and reports on member programs, activities, and operations related to key AHA advocacy initiatives.
