Mass Communications Instructor - One Year Appointment · Carrollton, GA
The Mass Communications program seeks to fill a newly funded, Limited Term Instructor position (a one-year appointment). The instructor will teach Introduction to Mass Communications, which is a required course for nearly 300 pre-majors, majors and minors, as well as a popular humanities elective for students from varied disciplines. The ideal candidate will be expected to teach nine courses during the academic year (a 5/4 semester course load). However, given that Introduction to Mass Communications is typically taught as a large lecture, the candidate may be expected to teach two or three large sections per semester, the equivalent of a 5/4 semester course load.
