Logistics Analyst (Import/Export Traffic Coordinator) · Marlboro, MA
Responsibilities:
Develop freight analysis process and financial reporting, Identify opportunities for cost savings.
Work with freight payment provider to review and disposition exception freight bills
Train plant shipping departments and administrative assistants on proper carrier and service level selection
Insure company wide compliance to transportation routing guide.
Maintain all freight and transportation records
Maintain all import and export records
Manage freight damage and service failure claims
Assist in the determination of proper classification of imported and exported materials
Work closely with sales and supply chain to insure required service levels are maintained
Assist in the development of landed cost models
Perform lane analyis
Provide transportation and import/export compliance support
Qualifications:
B.S. or B.A. in Business, Worldwide Logistics and traffic management.
5+ years experience in import/export, trade compliance and freight carrier management.
Strong sourcing, negotiation, and contracting skills with demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships
Compliance and traffic experience within multiple geographies is a plus.
