POSITION GOAL
Accepts the responsibility and accountability for providing professional nursing care to a designated group of women during the perinatal
period and to infants after delivery. Assesses patients, plans and implements care, and evaluates the care provided based on scientific
principles and guided by the established policies, protocols and procedures of Doctors Hospital.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Standard I: Recognizes role and operates within an integrated plan of care/services (to include delivery of care to patients in compliance
with hospital policies and procedures and demonstrating reliability and dependability in attendance.)
Standard II: Regular job functions (to include assessment and data collection, planning care, collection of specimens, monitoring basic
functions, medication administration, intravenous fluid administration, blood and blood products administration, oxygen delivery,
adjunctive airway/respiratory management,...
