Processes appointment and reappointment applications for physicians and allied health affiliates for The
Medical Center, Long Term Care Facilities, and the Columbus Regional Physician Group in compliance
with JCAHO, NCQA, and URAC standards. Develops and processes criteria for obtaining privileges in
the Columbus Regional entities listed above. Responsible for the input and management of the physician
and allied health affiliate information in the medical databases. Maintains and updates medical staff rules
and regulations for various departments to be in compliance with JCAHO, NCQA, URAC, state, and
federal laws.
Essential Job Duties

Processes appointment and reappointment applications for physicians and allied health affiliates.
2.
Develops and processes privileging criteria for Columbus Regional entities.
3.
Inputs and manages the physician and allied health affiliate information in MDStaff database.
4.
Maintains and updates Medical Staff rules and regulations for various Departments.
5.
Prepares and distributes call rosters to identified departments.
6.
