The Service Manager has the authority and responsibility for staffing effectiveness, personnel management and maintenance of the overall quality and continuity of patient care for the assigned service areas. The Service Manager is responsible for the broad management of census distribution, safety, standards of conduct, quality agenda for nursing practice, and personnel interactions. Works collaboratively with the ED/Access Manager to assure appropriate patient throughput for the patient population. Serves as integral part of the management team for the service area assigned to assure continuity of clinical and management goals during non-business hours of operation. Essential Job Duties
