Aerospace - Quality Engineer · Arlington, TX
Anixter is seeking a Quality Engineer for Anixter-Pentacon, our division specializing in the distribution of fasteners and small components to OEMs.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Aerospace/Fastener hardware and experience as a Quality Supervisor highly desired.
* Handle the day-to-day activities of supervising receiving and final 3-4 Inspectors
* Maintaining the calibration system, conducting AS9100 internal and supplier audits.
* Providing support to the Sales team and customers by resolving quality issues and complaints.
* Point of contact for customer audits of Anixter's facility.
* Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 standard and precision inspection methods.
* Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 Quality Standards as well as MS, NAS, and other Military Standards for hardware and fasteners.
* Minimum of 5 years experience at the above level is required.
