Dynamic and motivated Residential Therapist needed for our therapeutic group home environment! • Treat children and adolescents with SED. Additionally, these clients may demonstrate direct threats for self-harm and the externalization of poorly managed moods and affect. • Provide 24-hour crisis intervention care to assigned client caseload, including safety assessments to determine the need for psychiatric hospital action. • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with residents to help them to overcome emotional and behavioral problems. • When appropriate, conduct family therapy sessions to assist in resolving the difficulties that caused the child to be placed out of the home. • Conduct initial and ongoing assessment of residents' needs. • Coordinate, develop and ensure implementation of individual needs and service plans for each child; Coordinate regular reviews and modifications of this plan as needed. • Provide and supervise crisis intervention activities designed to help residents cope with emotional and interpersonal problems. • Ensure treatment coordination between residential, school and day treatment programs for child, ensuring that needs and services plans...
