Staff Test Engineer · Irvine, CA
Develop plan(s)/characterize cable (QAM), satellite, MOCA Tuner and LNA:
•Understand tuner specs and their impact on system level architectural design
•Develop test plan and specs with design team
•Bench test of chips (individually or with the DVT group)
•Troubleshoot reference design boards
•Function will evolve to testing a wide variety of analog circuits
Be able to work in a group setting:
•Work with team members in a lab environment to resolve technical issues
•Share expertise
•Answer internal and external customer questions
•Opportunity to interact with world-class experts in the Analog field
Meet deadlines and schedules as part of the team effort
•Help estimate to accomplish tasks at the beginning of each project
•Communicate progress weekly
•Identify and resolve schedule issues
Job Requirements : BSEE or above
Strong mathematical background
Familiar with spectrum analyzer, noise figure meter and oscilloscope
Familiar with the following SW tools: .net, Visual Basic, Visual C or Lab View to program GPIB, parallel port, serial port and Ethernet port
