Security Officer
2nd shift opportunity (3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.)
Tuesday-Saturday - Sunday and Monday off.
Responsible for the overall safety and security of company assets and personnel. Protect company assets and provide a safe and secure work environment for employees, vendors, contractors and visitors.
Qualifications Required Experience
Education
* High School diploma
Experience
*
Minimum 2 years experience in civilian or military law enforcement or physical security.
* Previous public relations experience helpful.
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to work at a fast-pace and in stressful situations.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
* Fluency in English a must; fluency in Spanish helpful.
* Ability to respond to visual and audio cues.
* Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the facility. Includes lifting up to 25 pounds and carrying up to 15 pounds; stooping, bending, jumping, twisting, crouching, gripping, carrying, and running on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
* Solid written and verbal communication skills; includes ability to write routine reports.
