Associate Software Engineer
At WMS you will be a part of an organization that prides itself in bringing the latest technologies to the casino floor through the creation of innovative gaming experiences. In this position you will work within the game development organization to help create the most compelling gaming experiences in the industry. The Associate Software Engineer is an entry level technology team member responsible for the creation of the software for game products. This position should demonstrate a high degree of initiative and is accountable for the timely completion and thorough implementation of all tasks assigned to them
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
* Object Oriented Programming
* C++ or Java
* Software Design
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* C++ experience preferred
* Game development experience a plus but not required
* LINUX or UNIX experience preferred
* User interface implementation experience preferred
* Familiarity with graphics engines preferred (Open GL, Direct X or other API's)
Job Functions
* Work with senior members of team to develop designs for assigned tasks
