This position gains and utilizes financial system expertise and accounting knowledge to provide accurate and reliable quantitative financial and statistical information, for both internal and external users, on a timely basis and to safeguard the assets of American Family Mutual Insurance Group companies. Assists in analyzing, defining, and maintaining systems whereby the needed information can be efficiently and accurately produced. Assists in the evaluation of regulatory statistical requirements and helps define logical programming required to comply with statistical requirements. Calculates, verifies and prepares timely and accurate assessments and statistical filings to States and Statistical Agents. Provides reconciliation detailed information to ensure the integrity of statutory and statistical reporting and Sarbanes/Oxley compliance. Assists with technical enhancements to our financial systems and the testing of our financial systems.
