Under the administrative direction of the Director of Development, this position will implement and coordinate comprehensive fund raising programs to identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts for the Richards College of Business. A significant amount of coordination and collaboration with the Richards College of Business will be needed to determine fund raising priorities. Responsibilities include the development of fund raising strategies that will achieve the strategic goals of U.W.G. and the Richards College of Business, including the addition of qualified prospects and donors to the database; cultivation of relationships with donors, volunteers, staff and community leaders. The position will manage fund raising activities in consultation with the dean and faculty of the Richards College of Business and provide reports as requested on the progress of activities; keep updated records on all prospects and donors in Raiser’s Edge and ensure the proper documentation, handling of gifts and recognition of donors.
