Financial / Budget Analyst Summary Directs and coordinates formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets for controlling funds to implement the College?s program objectives. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Assists in the planning and preparation of the College's operating and capital budgets. Planning includes comparative analyses of current activities, projections, presentation, and compilation of information. Preparation involves working with senior College staff in construction of budgets that reflect management targets and productivity goals. 2. Designs and implements budgetary control systems. 3. Reviews and manages monthly budget reports including dissemination of relevant information of budget versus actual results to appropriate parties. 4. Conducts financial and other operational analyses. Provides key information required to support management's decision-making process. 5. Maintains and monitors departmental productivity and/or benchmark systems. 6. Reviews various department statistics on monthly basis. 7.
