National Journal Group, Washington's leading online and print publisher of news and information on politics and policy, seeks ambitious, entrepreneurial individuals to join its ranks. NationalJournal.com is depended on by the people running the country for the most insightful political analysis and latest news from the Hill.

NationalJournal.com is currently accepting resumes for our fall interns to start ASAP at our Washington, DC office. Interns will contribute to National Journal's Earlybird, a daily news summary read regularly by Washington insiders, as well as create multimedia projects that complement our reporting. Prospective interns should be current students looking to earn course credit.

Interested candidates should have an interest in politics. Experience with audio and/or video editing, familiarity with Soundslides, and experience using a content management system to update blogs and related content are pluses.

All candidates must have:

* Basic HTML skills

* Ongoing education in journalism

* Willingness to start workday as early as 6 a.m.

* Knowledge of AP style
