Maintains security and protection of employees, visitors, patients and hospital property under the supervision
of the Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties
1. Maintains a safe environment.
2. Ensures safety of patients, visitors, employees, etc.
3. Maintains security of property by periodic patrols of assigned buildings and grounds.
4. Conducts appropriate liaison services.
5. Completes and submits appropriate documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of 360 hour Police Course/Criminal Justice Training at a
recognized facility.
Experience
Previous law enforcement experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Certified by Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training.
Current Georgia driver’s license.
Skills
Above average communication skills and the ability to relate effectively
to the public and health care professionals.
