Responsibilities for this production underwriting role include underwriting both new and renewal accounts, developing new business opportunities from the assigned brokers in the territory and make broker calls monthly. There will be an even balance between account underwriting, marketing and producer management. The WorldRisk package is a guaranteed cost, multi line package that includes both property and casualty lines of business. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of commercial insurance or related business experience. Excellent communication, work-flow management and problem solving skills are required. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing skills with the ability to deliver client/broker presentations. Most be flexible in their ability to travel within the region. Underwriting international business and a strong interest in international business is strongly preferred.
