Bose Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supporting the Home Entertainment Division. Primary responsibilities include creating, analyzing, and distributing financial statements. Prepare presentation slides for monthly close and financial reports, budgets, analyses, and metrics reporting. Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to financial advisors and operational management, in order to enable sound business decisions. Perform monthly analysis and assessment of judgmental reserve accounts. Prepare product line profitability analysis. Improve and adapt analytical models and tools, as needed. Work with financial advisors and operating management to understand various business dynamics and assist in projects that provide operations with decision support.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Support the monthly close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis on cost center statements at month end.
- Prepare monthly operational metrics reports/scorecards.
- Analyze judgmental reserves at month end to ensure they are sufficient.
