Assist hangar management and STMs with planning and coordinating all maintenance activities performed on aircraft during assigned shift. Provide work direction to technicians during the inspection, maintenance and repair of aircraft to ensure that work is performed to specifications and quality standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
1) Assist hangar manager with planning, scheduling and completing tasks on work authorizations in order to meet master schedule. Act on behalf of hangar manager in his/her absence and assume the duties and responsibilities of the hangar manager when assigned.

2) Manage jobs to ensure completion of tasks to meet aircraft schedule and budget. Coordinate with material department to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.

3) Coordinate with quality department to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.

4) Assist hangar management with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians in proper procedures and techniques of trouble shooting airframe and engine systems, routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Assist with performance appraisals of subordinates.
