Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, a leader in environmental engineering and consulting in the Western U.S., has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer in our growing Los Angeles office. We have a solid client base with many exciting and high profile projects that offer rewarding challenges. The position requires the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Areas of responsibility include working on projects from initial planning stages, through design and to construction completion. Candidate should have 10+ years of experience as a consulting electrical engineer in the detailed design of large municipal infrastructure projects such as pump stations and water and wastewater treatment facilities. Experience in planning and designing medium and high voltage systems, developing single line diagrams, design and specifying motor control centers and variable frequency drive system is required. Knowledgeable in Instrumentation & Control and SCADA systems is desirable, but not required. Understanding of the use of AutoCAD and/or Microstation in producing designs is required. Proficiency in using computer aided electrical analysis applications is desired....
