* Supervise all Quality activities in selected departments on first shift.
* Strong management skills and the ability to interact with all levels of plant personnel are required.
* Must implement company policies and assure conformance to specifications and plant procedures.
* Must develop improved product sampling and measurement technology.
* Must conduct defect/failure analysis on product as required.
* Must perform process validations, process capability, and statistical process control studies on multiple product lines.
* Must support Manufacturing and Quality Management with the development and implementation of new processes/technology.
* Must assist in the identification and development of process improvement projects.
* Capable of making independent decisions regarding product conformance and handle deviations as they arise.
* Communicate activities and occurrences from the shift to appropriate persons in an organized and clear manner.
* Must inter-face with other plant functions.
* Must have knowledge of both plant and departmental environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly.
