The Customer Contact Center Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting, quoting, consulting with and binding coverage for prospects of American Family Insurance. Through inbound/outbound calls, Internet and e-mail the Sales Representative will interact with prospects to provide suitable products to meet their insurance needs. Education/Licenses/Designations • Ability to obtain WI Agent License in Property, Casualty, Life and Health as well as non-resident agent licenses for all operating states and/or service states. Property & Casualty license must be obtained within 45 days of hire date; Life & Health license may be required after 90 days from hire date. Must fulfill bi-annual continuing education requirements. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements • Ability to convey information in a clear and precise manner via email to customers and departments. • Keyboarding/typing ability at 25 wpm. • Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in various PC and/or mainframe software applications. • Must have thorough knowledge of product features/benefits and underwriting rules. • Working knowledge of all contact center programs offered through our center or by our vendor...
