Position
• Classroom and clinical instruction, with clinical expertise in medical-surgical/geriatrics, women’s health (pre-licensure), community health and/or maternal-child nursing.
• Participation in student advisement.
• Participation in curriculum development and implementation.
• Use of web-based teaching methodologies.
• Contribution to nursing knowledge through teaching and professional service.
• Participation in academic activities at Department, College, and/or University levels.
Qualifications
• Master's degree in nursing required, with earned doctorate desirable.
• Evidence of successful teaching experience in baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing education is preferred.
• Expertise in medical-surgical/geriatrics, women’s health, community health and/or maternal-child nursing and one or more of the following areas: cultural competence, health assessment, and/or professional issues.
