POSITION: The Department of Politics and Public Administration invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment in the NASPAA accredited Master of Public Administration program. We are particularly interested in candidates at the assistant professor level, but will consider an associate professor level appointment. The individual appointed to this position will teach a wide range of graduate courses in Public Administration (these may include budgeting, quantitative analysis, or non-profit administration) and undergraduate courses in American Government and Public Administration. The successful candidate will be expected to direct the graduate program within two years. Superior candidates will possess enthusiasm, vision, and a collaborative orientation. The Department is noted for its collegial and supportive environment and its public service ethos. Effective teaching, scholarly productivity, and service to the University are required for retention, promotion, and tenure. This is an academic year appointment with opportunities for additional Summer Session teaching. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.
