iPhone Senior RF Driver Engineer · Cupertino, CA
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with hardware engineers to bring up RF components
2. Customize RF drivers for different choices of RF tranceiver and front-end modules (PA, LNA, etc)
3. Enable RF calibration and temperature compensation
4. Provide RF system expertise to other engineers on SW team
5. Review RF hardware schematics and provide feedback to HW team
6. Advise management on solutions to critical issues
8. Deliver on time under extremely aggressive schedule
9. Be held responsible for the quality and performance of RF drivers
Qualifications:
1. More than 5 years of experience working with device drivers in embedded environment.
2. Strong knowledge and experience with UMTS or CDMA RF systems
3. Experience with embedded debugging tools like JTAG and ICE.
4. Demonstrated expereince with RF Test equipment (CMU-200, Agilent 8960, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.)
5. Ability to understand hardware schematics and provide feedback to hardware engineers
6. Able to work closely with hardware engineers on board bringup and troubleshooting
7. Experience with power management
8. Able to work under tight schedule and deliver on time
