Description:
Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the activities of the Material Management Department which includes Purchasing, Central Service, Laundry, and Receiving and Stores. Responsible for the accounting, storage, and distribution of all products except drugs and food products.
Qualifications:
* B.A. Degree in Business with accounting courses, MBA preferred. * 2-5 years of demonstrated/proven working experience within Purchasing in an acute care hospital, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity. * Demonstrated knowledge of the supply chain process, operational procedures and accounting principles that relate to the purchasing function and financial implication to the operation. * Demonstrated knowledge of modern purchasing policies, procedures, and practices, kinds, grades, and qualities of a wide variety of equipment, supplies, and materials. * Ability to learn, lead, train, educate, direct, plan, coordinate and implement new policies, procedures and...
