Software Engineering Manager (Network Switching) · Andover, MA
As a member of the software management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineerings developing microcode and host API software for use with programmable network processors. Duties include:
Manage and supervise software engineering team, architect software platform, planning resource requirements, hiring, scheduling activities, monitoring progress, and evaluating performance.
Evaluation of new tools, improving design methodologies, contributing to new product definition and defining product test requirements.
Architect, develop and maintain microcode and software for embedded switch devices.
Support hardware engineering for emulation, bring-up, and system validation.
Provide training, documentation and support for the Applications Engineering team.
