The Rose Group is a franchise operator of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants. The Rose Group currently owns and operates Applebee's units in the Baltimore-Salisbury area of Maryland; Mercer County, New Jersey; Philadelphia and its surrounding 6 counties, northeastern Pennsylvania (the Pocono region).
As of January 2006, The Rose Group currently operates 47 Applebee's units and development will continue through the next decade with an anticipated 70+ total units as a goal.
Over the past 10 years, The Rose Group Applebee's team realized many excellence awards. In 1997, The Rose Group was honored by Applebee's International and its entire franchise community as the Franchisee of the Year, the very first year such an award was presented. The Rose group was most recently awarded Franchisee of the Year again in 2004. From 2001 through 2006 The Rose Group has received top franchisee awards for Best Training Practices, Most Improved Staffing Excellence, and Best Recruiting Innovation Practices.
