Amdocs is currently seeking a Unix System Administrator - Production (HP/IBM) in Atlanta, GA

Major Responsibilities:
•A production Expert with broad responsibilities and analysis skills within Unix SA stream. •Analyze Unix system requirements and provide solutions: write high-level specs, detailed designs and perform testing. •Maintaining existing system as well as developing new programs or infrastructure initiatives. •Actively participate in design review, code review and documentation writing. •Analyze defects and provide good fixes. •Support production and development servers •Monitor and UNIX servers performance tuning •Suggest enhancements to the current billing system by analyzing the existing processes and their impact on the overall TM system •Building and decommissioning servers, installation and configuration of software and corresponding licenses on servers, applying UNIX patches •UNIX servers user support, security administration (creating users and giving/removing access to servers) •Disk space allocation and management •Basic and Advance Troubleshooting
