Position: Coordinator of the Masters Degree Program in Health Care Management: One tenure-track Assistant Professor position with possibility of credit toward tenure.
Starting Date: September 1, 2009. Earlier appointment may be considered.
Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Health Care Management or a closely related field; Experience and expertise in Health Care Management. ABD’s will be considered. A Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education is required for tenure. Ability to teach in a related field, e.g. general management. Candidates should provide record of or potential for scholarly activity whenever possible, and effective teaching using a variety of methodologies. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication, and an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated potential for administering a masters degree program in Health Care Management, including recruiting students, recommending faculty, developing the curriculum and coordinating courses.
