Job Title: DIRECTOR, INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL
REQUIREMENTS/DESCRIPTION: Bachelors Degree in nursing required. Masters in relevant field preferred. New York State RN license required. Infection Control Certification required. Three years of Infection Control experience required in acute care hospital setting. Two years management experience required. Experience with JCAHO, DOH, federal and state infection control regulations required. Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Knowledge and experience in utilizing statistical tools for measurement required. Experience with National Patient Safety Goals and IHI iniatives related to infection control prevention and control.
