iPhone Battery Life Engineer · Cupertino, CA
The iPhone and iPod touch software team is looking for great engineers to help us achieve our ambitious battery life goals. Reaching these goals requires improvements to all aspects of the product, from board/module-level issues through the operating system all the way to application behavior. Optimizing battery life involves a solid testing methodology and strong debugging skills in both software and hardware. Successful candidates will have a strong background in software engineering and solid background in electrical engineering.
? Strong coding skills, preferably in C
? Experience with kernel level programming and device driver development
? Solid electrical engineering skills.
? Experience optimizing for battery life
? Excellent debugging skills in software and hardware to solve challenging problems
? Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
? Strong interpersonal skills (required to work with cross-functional teams)
